Team 102
Sub-Teams
Mechanical: They work on the mechanical body of the robot and assemble all parts. Prior to construction, the robot is modeled using CAD software. This year the team did extensive 3-D design to print custom parts for the robot.
Electrical: They work on the wiring and circuits that make the robot function. They are also in charge of pneumatic systems. This year they worked with the programming team to design a test bed to allow easy testing and debugging of code.
Website Design: In charge of web layout, team history, team news. This team works year round to ensure that the Team 102 members are kept up to date with team events.
Drive: They drive the robot during the matches through extensive training prior to competition. They also test the entire team on the game rules.
Spirit: They make our posters, lead our cheers, and add panache to our robot.
Project Management: They overlook the build process and coordinate all subteams tasks. They also ensure all tasks are accomplished on time.
Programming: They write the code for our robot in Java. This year they worked with the electrical team to create a test bed for debugging code prior to deployment.
Safety: They are knowlegeble on first aid and make sure the workplace is a safe environment. They train the team in proper tool usage and general safety guidelines.
Community Outreach: They organize community events to promote the team and FIRST as well as coordinate fundraising.
